Even after his father's death, he did not relinquish control but continued to manage it because of his profound attachment to the business. "Good day, Mallam Mashkur. I hope everything is going according to plan? I don’t want any issues or discrepancies with the steel supplies. Ensure that the necessary materials arrive on time because the boss will—" He was interrupted by the roaring sound of a private jet arriving. Manager Malik turned his gaze towards the sky and quickly remarked, "Alright, go back to work and supervise the others; the boss is here."
Adam Tariq Abdullahi, popularly known as Mr. ATA, is the chairman of ATA Companies—a young entrepreneur who surpasses any other Hausa businessman in wealth worldwide. A glance at him would reveal his age bracket—not too young, not old either, but a 37-year-old in his prime. His face carried a neutral expression, a typical demeanor for him. However, on this occasion, it appeared even more stern, reflecting the burden on his mind.
Mr. ATA, renowned globally by this title, is a man of extraordinary elegance, discipline, and charisma. Yet, he is known for his quick temper and firm demeanor. His life is vastly different from that of ordinary people. Reserved and unapologetically strict, if you misstep in his dealings, you would regret it, as he is capable of severe reprisals. This is unlike his late father, Alhaji Tariq Abdullahi, or his mother, Hajiya Zulaiheart, who were gentle, compassionate, and generous toward the less fortunate.
He is a tall, handsome man with fair skin, a reflection of wealth, and striking features. With a PhD in Business Administration and further studies ongoing, Mr. ATA embodies the perfection inherited from his parents.
Whenever Mr. ATA arrived, all employees would halt their activities to observe him, as instructed. His helicopter touched down, and after a brief pause, the door opened. He exited with deliberate steps, exuding authority. Dressed in a cream suit with a black shirt and shoes, he wore white glasses that reflected his piercing gaze at the factory workers.
Walking slowly, one hand in his pocket, he was flanked by bodyguards in matching suits, armed and carrying his belongings, including a sleek briefcase matching his outfit. Manager Malik hurriedly approached and greeted, "Welcome, sir!" Mr. ATA responded with a brief acknowledgment, shaking hands with the manager before inspecting the facility and commending Malik's dedication.
"Good work, Manager Malik. Your efforts are evident in how everything runs smoothly." He remarked while walking and added, "Success doesn’t come without effort."
"Indeed, sir, you’ve taught us the importance of hard work," replied Malik humbly.
Mr. ATA finally sat on a luxurious chair in the open area, choosing not to enter his office. Opening the briefcase, he revealed several framed designs and inquired, "Have you found her, Malik? Or anyone with information about her?"
"Not yet, sir, but I am trying my best," Malik responded.
Their conversation was interrupted by a call. Mr. ATA answered, addressing the caller as "My sweetheart." He spoke softly, apologizing profusely and requesting more time to resolve his issues. Her response visibly calmed him, and he resumed his duties with renewed focus.

In Lagos Around 5 PM on a Wednesday evening, four young women sat in a luxurious Land Cruiser Prado. Two were in the back seat, and two were in the front. Humaira, seated next to Mubina (the driver), brought out her iPhone 12 Pro Max and started taking snaps. Mubina smiled, briefly posed, then refocused on driving.
After a few minutes, they arrived at Abdullahi Estate, where a guard opened the gate for them. Driving through the expansive estate filled with over twenty upscale houses, they headed towards the distinctively luxurious residence of Hajiya Zulaiheart, Mr. ATA's mother.
Zulaiheart’s home stood out due to the immense wealth her late husband had accumulated, and her children continued to enhance it with modern renovations. The house staff, numbering 15, were always impeccably dressed in white uniforms.
Mubina parked the car and led her companions inside, skipping the usual security checks as they were familiar faces. They greeted Maryam and Nana Hauwa'u warmly before sitting down for refreshments served by the house staff.
In the midst of their conversation, Mubina’s attention was drawn to a large portrait of Mr. ATA on the wall. She stared at it for over thirty minutes, seemingly lost in thought. Nana Hauwa'u, noticing her gaze, teased, "What’s going on, Mubina? Why are you staring so hard at Yaya Adam’s picture? Or could it be…?"
Startled, Mubina smiled and admitted, "Honestly, I’ve always admired him since I was young. He’s the man I dream of marrying."
Her confession evoked a mix of sympathy and amusement among her friends as they turned their attention to her.
