She sat in a luxurious living room adorned with fine decorations, reflecting a life of comfort and elegance. She was dressed in a long, flowing green embroidered gown.

She kept glancing at the window, eager to see her husband arrive. When she heard nothing, she got up, walked to the window, and moved the curtain aside. She stood still for only a few minutes before she saw him driving in.

Quickly, she rushed to the parking area and opened the car door for him.

As he stepped out, she embraced him and welcomed him home.

He smiled and said, “Thank you, Aisha. How is the house?”

She responded, “Alhamdulillah.”

As they walked together, she led the way while he followed. They entered directly into her room. She took his handbag and went to the bathroom to prepare his bath. When she returned, she found him sitting on the bed, removing his shoes.

She knelt down to help him take off his shoes while he unbuttoned his shirt.

Then she brought him a towel, handed it to him, and he wrapped it around himself before heading to the bathroom.

Before he returned, she went to the kitchen, served his food, and set the dining table.

When he came out, dressed in his jalabiya, he walked into the living room and, not seeing her there, proceeded to the dining table.

As soon as she saw him coming, she quickly abandoned what she was doing and went to arrange his chair.

He smiled and said, “You’re always taking care of me, Aisha. Aren’t you tired of serving me?”

She simply smiled, picked up a plate, and began serving his food. Her hands trembled slightly from the weight of the plate, and he quickly reached out, laughing, and said, “See what I was saying?”

She asked, “What do you mean, my lord?”

He chuckled and said, “You’re weak because you don’t eat enough.”

Aisha smiled and replied, “Not eating much doesn’t make one weak.”

He clasped his hands together, rested his chin on them, and stared at her. “Then what is it?”

She responded, “This is just how Allah created me.”

He interrupted her, saying, “I never said otherwise. In fact, I love you just the way you are because it makes it easier for me to handle you however I want.”

Blushing, she covered her face with her hands.

He pulled the plate closer and started eating. “Pour me some water,” he said.

She picked up the jug and poured him a drink. They talked as he ate, and when he finished, he stood up and said, “Follow me, I have something to discuss with you.”

She simply said, “Okay,” and got up to follow him. She walked ahead, while he followed behind, as they entered her room.

He sat on the bed, and since she remained standing, leaning against the wall, he said, “Come sit down.”

She found a spot and sat on the floor, crossing her legs and facing him. He stared at her for a moment before speaking.

“Aisha.”

“Yes?” she responded.

“I know you are patient and obedient—you never go against my instructions, right?” He lifted her chin as he spoke.

She simply smiled.

He continued, “That’s why I take pride in you among all my wives—because you are different.”

Hearing this praise from her husband made Aisha feel deeply valued.

He continued, “Hauwa called me; she’s on her way back from her trip. You know it wouldn’t be right for her to return home and not find me there, right?”

Aisha remained silent.

He added, “So once I leave here, I will go straight to her house. I have already dismissed Fatima, and you were the only one I hadn’t informed yet. That’s why I came to tell you, to avoid a repeat of what happened last time.”

Tears welled up in Aisha’s eyes before she could control them, and they started streaming down her face.

Quickly, Nasir said, “Subhanallah, Aisha, what is this? Why are you crying?” He lifted her up, placed her on his lap, and wiped her tears. “Please, I don’t want to see tears on your beautiful face again, okay?”

She nodded.

He continued, “Aisha, you have no idea how much I love you. I can never forget the first time I saw you—since then, Allah has tested me with love for you.”

“If I were to sit and describe how much I love you and how I feel when I see you upset, you might not even believe me.”

Aisha smiled and said, “Thank you.”

Nasir asked, “So, is the crying over now, my dear?”

She smiled and hid her face in his chest.

Nasir stood up, lifted her in his arms like a baby, and placed her gently on the bed. Removing his jalabiya, he climbed onto the bed and said, “Let me give my darling a massage.”

Aisha gasped, exclaiming, “Oh my God!”

But before she could escape, Nasir pulled her back under him. She pleaded, “Please, my lord, let me go.”

He continued teasing her until he got what he wanted.

Afterward, he held her hand, led her to the bathroom, and they bathed together. He got dressed and left for Hauwa’s house so she wouldn’t arrive home to find him absent.

Although Aisha feared him, she also knew that Hauwa was different—she was not an easy woman to deal with.

As soon as Nasir arrived at Hauwa’s house, he found her already there, waiting for him.

She gave him a stern look and said, “So, now you finally decided to come and welcome me?”

He smiled and replied, “Welcome back, Madam Hauwa.”

He walked over, hugged her, and said, “You must be tired from the journey.”
